Grandparents and Special Friends' Day
Alumni Speaker
Teddy Margo (FWA '13), spoke at Grandparents and Special Friends' Day back in November and shared some insights from his time at Fort Worth Academy:

“Looking back on my time at FWA, I realize now just how impactful FWA was on the person that I am today. Most of the friends I made there, I still talk to today, despite the physical distance between us. The community that Fort Worth Academy fosters is not only friendly and supportive and kind, but it is a family…a FWAmily, if you will. I knew I could always count on my friends here, and the teachers were always able to bring out the best in us.”

Teddy later visited campus and met with some of the fourth graders (pictured above). Teddy, we greatly appreciate you sharing stories from your time at FWA and your continued support to the FWA community!
High School Alumni Giving Back
Together, the Fort Worth Academy community generously continues our mission! Thank you to our hard-working high school alumni who volunteered and to all of our friends and family who participated in Giving Tuesday! With 12 donors, we raised $4,252 for 'Blazer Giving, our annual fund!
FWA Alums: Where Are They Now?
Check out where some of our FWA graduates are now and see what they had to say about their time at Fort Worth Academy!
Brooke Krasowsky
Brooke will graduate from the University of Arkansas in May 2022 and has been accepted into the master's program in Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Arizona State University.

"Fort Worth Academy helped me create some of my favorite memories! I met my best friends while in attendance and we are still best friends to this day! After I graduate from the University of Arkansas I will be getting my Masters in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Arizona State University!"
Tyler Stamm
Tyler, FWA class of 2003, graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 with a degree in Sports Management. He and his wife Jennifer just welcomed their first baby, Cooper, in October! Tyler currently lives in Houston where he works as the General Manager of the Sugar Land Skeeters, a Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros! Tyler invites all FWA friends to stop by for a game if you are ever in town!

“Every single educator at FWA truly cares for their students, both inside the classroom and in life. I came to FWA after spending my elementary years in public school, and all of my teachers worked tirelessly to ensure my success through the culture shock of the transition to higher education. FWA set me up for long-term success from an education stand point, and nearly 20 years later, I’m still connected with some of my teachers today!”
Kirsten Sibley
Kirsten graduated from Texas A&M in December of 2021 with a BBA in Accounting and is working at Clifton Larson Allen and is engaged to be married this summer.

"One of the things that has stuck with me from my time at FWA was the creative learning we were given each and every day. We were rarely only in a classroom all day learning. The teachers really pushed us out of our comfort zones to make videos, reenact the units we were learning (Hoplite with Mr. H, for example), and the immense group projects we had. It made it easy to look forward to going to school. That is what I look back on and appreciate the most from FWA, especially since talking to my friends who went to different schools and didn’t have the same experience."
Amanda Matyastik
Amanda graduated from Baylor University in May of 2021. Currently, Amanda teaches 5th grade at Burton Hill Elementary.

“At Fort Worth Academy, I learned how to make and achieve my goals. FWA is where I learned about the importance of academics and motivated me to achieve my ultimate goal of being a teacher."
