Dear Alumni,

It's hard to believe that our little preschool and kindergarten wildcats just celebrated 100 days in school, our 8th graders have received their letters of acceptance to local high schools, and our Boys' Basketball and Girls' Volleyball teams are gearing up for the playoffs!

Time flies when you are having fun!

In the last couple of months, we have been very busy with renovations to the school, the installation of a new School Advisory Board, new scholarships being announced, and the announcement that QM Football will return in the Fall of 2024 for grades 3-5.

There are really amazing things happening here at Queen of Martyrs School!

As we get ready for the spring, please save the date for our "Inspiring a Brighter Future" Spring Gala on Sunday, April 14th at Bourbon Street from 1-5pm. More information will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead.

Queen of Martyrs celebrated Catholic Schools Week

During the last week of January, Queen of Martyrs families, teachers, and students celebrated Catholic Schools Week "United in Faith and Community." The week was marked with an open house, school Mass, a food drive, classroom movies, school wide Bingo, and many more fun activities.

As part of our CSW Family Mass on Sunday, Jan. 28th, our Student Council President, Jahmel McGee, and School Board Member, Mrs. Katie Clark did an amazing job capturing what makes QM such a special place and the blessing of receiving a Catholic education.

Donate to QM Football,

Receive a QM Helmet

With the return of Wildcat Football, the Queen of Martyrs Athletic Association is seeking donations for the purchase of new football helmets and equipment for the Fall of 2024.

With each donation of $100 or more, donors will receive a game used QM helmet. Supplies are limited! Pickup only!

What a perfect souvenir for any QM Football alum to put in their basement for all to see and reminisce about the glory days on the gridiron!

Tom & Kay Hanrahan

Memorial Scholarship Established

Queen of Martyrs is excited to announce the establishment of the Tom and Kay Hanrahan Memorial Scholarship for 2024-2025.

For the 2024-2025 school year, four scholarships of $2,500 per family will be offered: Two for families with children who are currently enrolled and two for new families who will be enrolling their children at Queen of Martyrs.

"Father Benedykt and I are extremely grateful for the tremendous generosity of the Hanrahan Family and this amazing tribute to Tom and Kay by their children and grandchildren."
