Ambassador Day at the University of St. Francis is a special opportunity for USF community members and local leaders to become more engaged in the university’s mission and further understand the importance of the university within our community. During the event, attendees hear the State of the University Address by USF President Arvid C. Johnson, Ph.D. If you would like to attend this year’s virtual Ambassador Day on Thursday, November 12 at 8:30 a.m., please visit stfrancis.edu/ambassador-day to register.

The Career Success Center will be holding a Virtual Job & Internship Fair for students and alumni on November 11, 2020. To register for the event, go to stfrancis.joinhandshake.com and use your USF credentials to sign in. Alumni can register for a free account too. You can view jobs on the site and click on events to see upcoming fairs and career-related programming.

#GivingTuesdayUSF is a day for Saints around the globe to come together to celebrate University of St. Francis students and encourage giving to the university! Giving Tuesday is a global day of philanthropy on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, the event takes places on December 1. Be a part of this effort by making a gift to the Francis Fund or to the fund of your choice.

Preparations are underway for the 2020 Spirit of Christmas broadcast at USF. From Thanksgiving Day through January 2, commercial-free holiday music will take over the airways of WCSF 88.7FM, USF’s student-run radio station. You can participate as a sponsor and help provide USF students with the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on broadcasting experience. The new Centennial Gateway, which includes a bronze statue of Saint Francis with a Saint Bernard, and the Margaret (Kennedy ’69) and William C. Benoit Commons were dedicated during a special virtual ceremony made available to the USF community on September 17, 2020. The ceremony can be viewed here. The projects were completely funded by donors as part of the Centennial Campaign.
