Alumni Spotlight - Nathaniel Delvalle '21
|
|
|
Nathaniel Delvalle is a 2021 graduate of New Foundations Charter School.
Graduating during a global pandemic was not ideal, but his favorite memory of his senior year was the Senior Sunrise/Senior Breakfast. Throughout his time at NFCS, he enjoyed participating in Rock Band for all four years, where he learned how to play various instruments which pushed him out of his comfort zone. He also participated in National Honors Society as a senior.
Nate is currently awaiting his first year of college at Drexel University where he will be attending with a full tuition scholarship in the fall. He also was awarded a “Legacy Scholarship” which covers full room and board! He plans on studying Criminal Justice at Drexel to expand his knowledge on Criminology! How exciting, Congrats Nate!

Nate attended our first in-person event last month, the Bulldog Blockbuster, and had a great time catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones! Check out these photos of Nate enjoying himself.

On July 22, 2021, the NFCS Alumni Association held our first ever in person event. Alumni from the class of 2014 to the class of 2021 joined us for an evening filled with games, snacks, live music, raffles and a movie. A big thank you to our event sponsor, Jumpbutton Studios, founded and led by Alumni Nicodemus Madehdou. Our other donors included Wawa, La Colombe Coffee Roasters, Paddywacks, and Just Born Confections.
Noah Richardson '17 performed a set of original songs and covers during the event while attendees played lawn games, caught up with old friends and teachers, ate snacks and prepared to watch Grown Ups at sunset.
The Alumni Board thanks everyone who attended, we look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Along with our updated brand came a new website! Be sure to visit the Our Alumni page (newfoundations.org/alumni) for information not available on our social media accounts.
