Kevin Krupelak '77


Giving back to Elyria Catholic was always the plan for Kevin Krupelak, from the Elyria Catholic High School class of 1977. Kevin realized early on in his adult life that he owed a debt of gratitude to his alma mater. Having received an education that shaped his future, Kevin always wanted to find a way to give back to the school that had given him so much. Little did he know that his desire to give back would lead him to highlight the inspirational life of Frances T. Schuster.

Women for Excellence Recap

100 EC community members gathered Thursday, May 16 for an evening of Women, Wisdom, and Wine with Sister Mary McCormick, SND, PHD at the Cleveland Yachting Club.


The event was co-chaired by Mary Kobb Herrick ’78 and Blake Rybarczyk Merrell ’96 and featured an opening prayer from Isabella Barb ’24 as well as Lucy Rothgery ’24 giving her take on Life as A Young Catholic Woman.

Congratulations to the 98 members of the Class of 2024 who graduated on Friday, May 24! The graduates gathered with commencement speaker Rick Simmons ’89 prior to their final procession into the Coliseum as Elyria Catholic students.
