Distinguished Alumni Awards
Traditions of Excellence

What do a NASA flight director, a Kenney Center Gold Medallion recipient, and a 26-season winning soccer coach have in common?

They’re all Ranger alumni and are in this year’s UW-Parkside Distinguished Alumni class.

We celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates and proudly announce the 2020-21 Distinguished Alumni Award recipients for their outstanding achievements and service to their communities. In addition to honoring awardees representing each of the university’s four colleges, UW-Parkside recognizes the late Frances “Fran” Jaeschke with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Festejo de Lideres Recognizes Alumni
As part of UW-Parkside’s Hispanic Heritage Month activities, the university celebrates local leaders who have created an impact in our community in the Festejo de Lideres. This year’s recipients are both alumni: Jose Reynaldo Palacios ’83 and Andres Alfredo Cerritos ‘03. Watch their recognition video and join us for virtual events in the final weeks of Hispanic Heritage Month.
From the Chancellor: Community Engagement in Kenosha
Since our founding over 50 years ago, UW-Parkside has been committed to making the communities it serves better places to live, learn, serve, and grow. That commitment is unwavering, reaching beyond the words we say to actions we as members of those communities can take to help, both in good times and during our most challenging moments.
