ALUMNA'S CONNECTION CREATES INTERNSHIPS
When Kate Corrigan ’85 was looking for interns to support her start-up company Archer Career, she turned to her alma mater and Becky Herrig ’84, ’16M, of Clarke University Career Services. Together, they were able to create an internship opportunity that supported Kate’s company and gave three Clarke students valuable experience as they entered the job market.
GENERATIONS OF SUCCESS
2021 marked the eighth Clarke student to win the prestigious McElroy Trust Fellowship, which supports students in the sciences as they pursue their Ph.D. From the most recent winner to alumni with years of experience, we caught up with six of the winners to celebrate the amazing things they have accomplished.
GIFT HONORS HISTORY
WHILE SUPPORTING THE
FUTURE OF CLARKE
Kathleen Stephenson ’70 is celebrating her 50th Class Reunion with a $50,000 gift to her alma mater saying, “I have a lot to be grateful for in my life and I recognize the role Clarke played in that life, so a gift was my way of making a statement. Whether you give $5, $500, or $50,000, you do what you can for the things you believe in.”
BUILDING ON A FOUNDATION OF SUCCESS FOR A BRILLIANT FUTURE
After her first month with Clarke University, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Eden Wales Freedman reflects on all that various Clarke departments have achieved while planning for future growth.
