Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges Faculty Spotlight | |
|
Throughout this academic year, we are celebrating faculty members who exemplify our year-long theme: Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges. History Teacher Scott Brady ’84 was recently recognized for his contributions. Brady, a longtime community member of Forman, is also the Assistant Coach of the Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team, an Advisor, and a New Teacher Mentor.
“I am honored and humbled,” he says. “This is a community that I genuinely love being a part of, so to be recognized in this way is really nice.”

Soccer Athletes and Coach Honored | |

Henry Dransfield ’24 and Emerson Day ’23 were named to the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association (CSCA) Class Prep Small-Medium 2022 All-State Team at the CSCA banquet this month. Also at the banquet, Scott McCarty ’76, P’02, P’05, Major Gifts Officer and Boys’ Varsity Soccer Coach, received the Connecticut High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) Lifetime Achievement Award. McCarty, who has been the Prep School Representative of the CSCA for decades, says he was humbled to be this year’s award recipient. Read more here.

We are excited to welcome another group of students to campus for the 2023 Forman Summer Program. If you are interested in becoming a counselor this summer, click here to learn more and apply. Applications are due by February 1st.

Summer Program Info & Discount | |
|
The Forman Summer Program is a four-week, coed boarding and day camp that takes place on our campus during the month of July. The program is open to any students entering grades 7-11 who would benefit from our individualized approach to learning. Students learn independence, self-advocacy, and academic strategies that they can apply in the classroom and beyond. In the evenings and on weekends, they participate in various activities, explore the local area, and enjoy all that summer in northwest Connecticut has to offer! Enroll by March 1st and receive a $500 discount.
