Early-bird bingo tickets through April 11
The Holy Family University Alumni Association and Parent Association are co-hosting a Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, April 24 at Cannstatter-Volksfest Verein, 9130 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Doors open at 11:30 am, lunch will be served at 12:00 pm, and Bingo will begin at 1:30 pm.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and include lunch, dessert, and 15 games of cash bingo. The event will also feature a cash bar, a 50/50, raffle baskets and three specialty bingo games with cash prizes. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Building upon the past success of Family and Friends Bingo, hosted for many years by the Family and Friends Organization, proceeds from the new Alumni and Parents Bingo will be used to provide scholarships that allow young adults, many the first in their families, to pursue a higher education at Holy Family.

Tickets now on sale for Tigers on the Loose!
Join us on Thursday, May 12 at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, America’s first art museum and school, for a scholarship celebration to raise critical funds for student financial aid.
 
The evening will be held in PAFA’s stunning 1876 Historic Landmark Building, one of the finest surviving examples of Victorian Gothic architecture in America. A reception will feature food stations, hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar in the Museum’s exhibition spaces featuring a world-famous collection of 19th- and 20th-century American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, as well as contemporary works.

Donations for Ukraine through April 4
All are invited to assist the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth USA, Inc and the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great in collecting needed items for Ukraine. Donation boxes will be located in each building on both campuses through April 4. Click here to see a complete list of needed items.

In addition, monetary donations to assist both Congregations will also be collected through March 25. All money collected will be given to these two Congregations who are in Ukraine helping the people. They will be able to make purchases for those they are helping and who have nothing left.

  • The Holy Family University Cheerleading team, lead by head coach, Melissa (Greco) Koepke '10, celebrated a huge first place win at the Spirit Extreme competition in February.

  • Despite COVID restrictions, 17 students from Holy Family's Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter dedicated their Spring Break to supporting local projects and organizations, including working at Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Montgomery County and Bucks County.
  • On March 8, the School of Education hosted the Student Teacher Career Night, a program that provided an opportunity for current students to learn about the next steps in starting their careers in education. Special guests included recent grads, including Holly Agnew '21, Erynn Brooks '21, and Krysta-Leigh Keen '21 (pictured).
