 White House

This season, the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) is honored as a 2015 winner of the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards, the country's highest honor for youth arts and humanities programs throughout the United States, presented by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities each year. This award recognizes the organization's innovative Community Partnership Programs. These programs include nine diverse offerings that bring transformative music training to youth with barriers to such opportunities.

Thank you to all of the MYSO and MFY alumni who attended the reception and played with the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra on Monday, January 4. There was a great turnout and the conductors thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your most recent endeavors. We hope you continue to stay in touch!
