Exciting news...
Stay tuned for an exciting update on how you--our valued alumni--can support MYSO's future. This initiative, led by a group of your fellow alumni, will be introduced later this month!
Announcing the 2016-17 Concert Season
We are thrilled to bring you MYSO's 61st concert season, which kicks off on Wednesday, October 12, with a performance by the acclaimed Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Carter Simmons.

The 2016-17 season will feature solo performances by pianist Jeannie Yu and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's principal clarinetist Todd Levy, as well as Florentine Opera Studio Artists Ariana Douglas and Leroy Davis on October 12. Click on the image above for the full concert schedule.

Among the over 80 concerts that will be performed, the fine young musicians from Senior Symphony and Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra will be embarking on an international tour to Argentina and Uruguay in July 2017!

Please join us in celebrating another promising MYSO season. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing many of you this year.

Alumni at Work

Alicia Storin, 1994-2000, cello
MYSO c ellist in the 1990s, Alicia Storin now works as a professional musician in the Milwaukee area and as a cello instructor at MYSO. I was enormously fortunate to get into Senior Symphony just in time for the Mediterranean Odyssey tour. I also participated in chamber music every year, my most notable coach being Jerome Franke...
