CEHD alumnus leading Kentucky's Fayette County school district

Two-time UD alumnus Manny Caulk has set an impressive number of firsts. In August, he added another one, becoming Fayette County's first African American superintendent.

EDD graduate applies research to reduce high school dropout rate. 

While serving as principal for William Penn High School, Menzer translated his doctoral work into practical application, helping to reduce its senior dropout rate from 12% to 3%.

Study to Reduce Stress in Children

HDFS faculty received a $2 million, five-year grant, "Promoting First Relationships," to reduce childhood stress by improving parent-child interactions.
