The coronavirus pandemic has brought so much uncertainty into everyone's lives. It's especially difficult for children. That's why Alvis started "FallQuest," an educational services and support program for school age children whose mothers are in Alvis' behavioral health treatment programs.
Currently, children in grades K-6 attend the FallQuest program four days a week. They are able to participate in the online classes through their regular school in a classroom setting that minimizes distractions. Kids can also receive extra support and structure from the FallQuest staff.
Can you help? While we are limiting the number of volunteers who come into Alvis facilities to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus, we still have a range of remote volunteer opportunities available. Email us today!
