Gobble. Gobble.
It is that time of year again to be thankful. I am fortunate that this year, like each of the past, I have a lot for which to be thankful.
First, an amazing business partner and cofounder who is also my wife. We never really escape work as a result of working together, but we always manage to have a great time and be well-aligned in the mission and purpose of the organization we are creating.
Second, a fantastic team of nearly 40 that have produced incredible results for our clients this year. About a third of the team joined us in 2021, and they were quick to jump in, learn and start adding value. From branding projects to a torrent of redistricting work, they rose to the occasion for clients and each other. I could not be more proud of them.
Third, to our phenomenal clients who trust us with a full array of projects and treat us like partners; not vendors. It takes two to tango: clients and our team, and the clients have been sublime. 2021 was a dynamic year with many new challenges, and it seemed every week we had another opportunity to do something for a client. I got into this work because I wanted a front row, 50-yard line seat on society’s challenges, and our clients have put us on the field!
Finally, I am thankful for America. It is the ultimate petri dish for entrepreneurs and ideas. It deserves to be thanked for creating opportunities and providing a wealth of diverse talent to help us accomplish our work and keep life interesting. There is nowhere I would rather live, work and thrive.
May your Thanksgiving be full of turkey, football and appreciation for the great elements of your life,
