🩸 AmCham Blood Donor Day 2025 – Together, We Saved Lives 🩸

Over two incredible days, 720 volunteers donated 164,450 ml of blood—equivalent to 658 life-saving units, marking a 60% increase from 2024. This powerful show of compassion highlighted the strength of community, with friends, colleagues, and companies uniting to support those in need. Huge thanks to all donors—true heroes—and to member companies like Onsemi Vietnam, CBRE Vietnam, Cathay Pacific, Coca-Cola, and others for encouraging participation. Special appreciation to New World Saigon Hotel and Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City for hosting the event and to our generous sponsors for making it possible. AmCham has submitted its comments on the Draft resolution concerning the regulations for food product declaration and registration to the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.


Members are encouraged to bring forward any advocacy needs or related questions to the relevant Committees, or by email to advocacyaction@amchamvietnam.com.


Similarly, we invite members experiencing instances of administrative delays and challenges to share details via email to communications@amchamvietnam.com. We are compiling this information on behalf of our members.

[Vietnam Briefing] Vietnam-US Trade Negotiations Continue Post-Tariff Announcement. Following the US tariff announcement on July 31, 2025, Vietnam is actively pursuing a favorable trade deal with the US by implementing reforms and enhancing its trade network, while also advocating for recognition as a market economy to alleviate high anti-dumping duties.

[Nhân Dân] US reciprocal tariff tests Vietnamese businesses. As of August 7, 2025, the US has officially imposed a 20% reciprocal tariff on many Vietnamese exports. It seems to have come as a shock, however, for entrepreneurs and experts, it is a turning point that could help Vietnamese enterprises strengthen their resilience, restructure their value chains, and gradually assert their position in the global marketplace.
