AmCham Vietnam - HCMC Weekly Newsletter

March 3rd, 2026

Update from the Executive Director

Dear ,

Welcome back to those who had a bit of an extended holiday break! As you get fully settled back into your routine, now is the perfect time for our Members to take a few minutes and think about how you and your company can really take advantage of being part of AmCham. Have you and your colleagues joined one of our 13 committees? They are free, and it’s a perfect way to gain regular business insights into a particular sector, network with like-minded people, or become thought leaders and share your own expertise. I love our committee meetings because you find out the latest information about regulatory changes and interesting presentations that help provide you with new angles or perspectives. Our advocacy efforts are coordinated via our committees, so it’s the right platform to share if you are experiencing any challenges. Additionally, I would recommend that you spread the AmCham love – your HR Manager can join our HR Committee; your Finance Manager can join our Tax & Customs Committee, and so on. We want to make sure that your entire team has the latest information to help your business. If you’d like to join any of our committees (you can join

as many as you’d like), please email Ms. Lily Nguyen at lily.nguyen@amchamvietnam.com

Additionally, did you know we have a Membership Discount program? Save big on hotels, restaurants, and shopping! Click here to see our current offers. If you are a Member and would like to promote your services, please email Ms. Paisley at paisley.dang@amchamvietnam.com. Similarly, we have monthly networking events (our famous Connect & Cocktails), and we are always looking for sponsors for our lucky draws. If you have a special product or voucher that you’d like to showcase, please contact Mr. Minh Anh at minhanh.ha@amchamvietnam.com

Don’t forget that Members are entitled to three free banners for our weekly newsletter. Talk to Ms. Paisley at paisley.dang@amchamvietnam.com and she will give you all the relevant information.

Finally, don’t forget that AmCham is here to serve YOU. That means, if you have an idea for an event that you think would be useful to the business community, tell us! If you have some suggestions that would improve our services, let us know. And of course, if you are facing any difficulty in doing business in Vietnam, we want to hear. We love feedback, so don’t be shy.

I hope that you have a great week ahead, and I look forward to seeing you at the next AmCham

event.

Travis Mitchell
