What an unforgettable evening at the AmCham “Giving Thanks” Dinner 2025!
The American business community gathered on November 20 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza for a warm and meaningful night of connection, celebration, and gratitude, joined by senior leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the U.S. Consulate General.
This year, six awards were presented across three ESG categories, highlighting outstanding achievements from both multinational corporations and SMEs.

2025 Board of Governor Elections. If you are an AmCham Vietnam HCMC voting member, you should have already received your online ballots. Please click the LINK to see our impressive slate of candidates for the 2026-27 term, together with their biographic information and “Vision for AmCham.” Ten governors will be elected in on-line secure voting, ending at 11:59PM Thursday, December 11. Election results will be announced at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, December 16, starting at 6PM at the Caravelle Hotel.

AAIP members will hear from two excellent trade policy experts – one in Washington, D.C. and the other in region – as to what to watch following the Supreme Court’s hearing on the use of IEEPA for President Trump’s Liberation Day tariffs. If the Supreme Court upholds the President’s authority, what will that mean for those that export to the U.S.? If the decision goes the other way, how should businesses prepare? Could they get a refund? What happens to agreements between the United States and regional governments that have already been signed? Are there other tariffs that President Trump can substitute for the IEEPA tariffs?
