Update from the Executive Director | |
Last week marked one of the most significant times on the American calendar. The event, called the "Giving Thanks Dinner – An Evening to Celebrate Excellence in Community Impact," was a beautiful evening where we celebrated a traditional Thanksgiving meal and honored 39 ESG impact initiatives and projects of AmCham member companies and organizations and gave 7 awards for Excellence in ESG Impact. Out of the 39 projects, we recognized:
- 28 projects for Environmental and Social Impact including 4 winners - Bayer Vietnam Ltd., Betrimex, DEEP C Industrial Zones, and Opella Vietnam.
- 4 projects in Humanitarian Relief and Community Welfare including 1 winner - Techtronic Industries Vietnam Manufacturing Company (TTI).
- and 3 projects in DEIA, Workforce Development, and Health and Safety with 2 winners in that category - Ekko Tech Viet Nam Company, and STREETS International, Inc.
Congratulations to all our members for positively impacting our community, and a special thanks to Vo Van Hoan, Ho Chi Minh City Vice Chair, and Susan Burns, US Consul General for serving as our VIP guests. Check out the pictures here: LINK
