Dear AmCham Members and friends,
It is my pleasure and honor to wish the Board of Governors for 2023 a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and also welcome new Governors who will soon join the Board in 2024. For those Governors stepping down, we thank you for your dedicated service and help in making AmCham Vietnam the leading business organization in Vietnam that makes a difference in business and the communities we serve in Vietnam.
It is a pleasure and an honor to be associated with such a distinguished group of individuals and companies coming from all corners of the world. The AmCham community is unique , its diverse and its fair and sets the highest standards for ethical behaviour and good business governance. Thank you for your contributions to this unique community.
During this joyous time of the year, we reflect upon the accomplishments and milestones we have achieved together, and the invaluable partnerships we have formed. The collaborative efforts between AmCham and its esteemed Board of Governors have played a pivotal role in fostering strong business relationships, promoting trade, and advancing the interests of the American and Vietnam business communities and the global community.
As we celebrate this festive season, and the fast approaching New Year, may we extend our holiday message to wishing you all a peaceful season with good health and prosperity.
I look forward to interacting with all during the coming weeks as we prepare the plan for 2024 which I am personally excited to get started as we enter the New Year with an upgraded relationship between Vietnam and the United States. It's our mission to find ways to help our members take advantage of the opportunities which come out of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). We will be thinking about ways we can Advocate on behalf of members with the Government in Vietnam, including the National government and the Provincial and City Governments and of course, Advocating for policies out of Washington which can better serve our business here. AmCham works both ends of the pond to support its members. And the other pillar of AmCham is serving its members with events which gives members deeper insights into the business life in Vietnam and furthers business and social connections in ways which make AmCham membership meaningful and fun. I would like to hear from you how AmCham can better serve its members including the company you work for. My goal for next year is to significantly grow the membership especially with more small and medium size companies and multiply the events both small and large to attract members. We will also work on ways to collaborate with other Amcham chapters to assure that we speak with a single voice and we share insights and connections to better serve our members.
