Dear Members
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Weekend. Last week was one of the biggest weeks on the American calendar. On Thursday, the American Thanksgiving holiday which was celebrated for giving thanks to our friends, family and community for the many blessings we enjoy. We were pleased to welcome Vice Director of the HCMC External Relations Office Pham Tran Thanh Thao and U.S. Consul General Susans Burns, along with over 250 members, their colleagues, and friends. As it was called “Giving Thanks” Dinner – an Evening to Celebrate Excellence in Community Impact!, we celebrated a traditional Thanksgiving, and honored our company members who have significant impact from an ESG Initiative in Vietnam in 2023. AmCham also celebrated Thanksgiving by organizing the Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament and Lunch at the Vietnam Golf & Country Club. This year is the first ever in 23 years, we got 79 golfers. It was a fun event. 2023 Board of Governor Elections. Please take a few minutes and vote now!! It’s time to vote for AmCham Vietnam's Board of Governors in HCMC! If you are an AmCham Vietnam voting member, you already should have received your online ballots. The 10th annual AmCham Breakfast with Santa will be held this year on December 10, from 9:00am to 12:30pm at the InterContinental Saigon. The event is designed for families to celebrate Christmas together, and bring some Christmas joy into other’s lives.
Sponsorship and a portion of every adult ticket sold will help fund the cost for over 30 Covid-19 orphans from the Care to Rise Program.
