We strive to continue to be the most influential, strategic, and dynamic business association in Vietnam.
AmCham welcomes American, Vietnamese, and international companies that share our interest in enabling a fair, transparent, predictable, and efficient regulatory environment that values innovation.
We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as environment, social, and governance values and aim to be a community you want to join.
Dear ,
Upcoming Events and Committee meetings:
Some of my favorite things. It has been wonderful having my older daughter, Sabina, here, and she is loving her sunset walks with our dog, Pabu. Desserts are also extremely important to me. My daughters and I joke that we have a separate compartment in our stomachs for dessert. I always save room! This week it was an incredible hazelnut chocolate mille crepe at Esta and an amazing pavlova at a Long Table Taste of Australia Lunch at Lubu. We ate something very similar in the American Midwest, too. We just called it a meringue shell…
Upcoming Events and Committee meetings:

Take Charge of Your Health and Fitness.  We know professional and personal demands are increasing for everyone as Vietnam reopens and many of us welcome visitors and plan for summer travel. Don't put your health and wellbeing at the bottom of your "to-do" list. Take charge and prioritize your health and wellness. Join this AmCham event Wednesday afternoon at the Reverie Saigon to learn from a group of top healthcare experts how you can build your immune system and thrive in challenging times. Panel discussion from 4:30-6:00PM, followed by a networking session until 7:30PM.
Learn how to take charge of your health and wellbeing – and that of your team! LINK

As we all gear back up to full production, learn on June 16th how to Manage Ethical Supply Chains: Attracting and Maintaining a Quality Workforce, at a hybrid in-person and virtual event, with simultaneous interpretation available in Vietnamese and English. Recent Events:
Community. It’s one reason many of us join AmCham. It was wonderful for many of our HCMC Board of Governors to get together and celebrate being together after a challenging year at a lovely dinner hosted by Chair Winnie Wong and her husband, Tay Gek Lee. We also said farewell to Former Chair Jonathan Moreno, and recognized him for his strong servant leadership at AmCham, strengthening our organization and its corporate governance, and mentoring and passing the torch to the next generation of AmCham leaders. Some AmCham members also said farewell the night before at a party at their favorite club/dive bar. We thank both Jonathan and his wife, Ashley Brown Moreno, for the extensive contributions they have made during their 11 and 1/2 years here - at AmCham, ISHCMC, their church, and the broader HCMC community! You will be missed! Hẹn gặp lại!! And thank you to our community of AmCham volunteer leaders!!
Business lunch for Deputy Secretary Wendy Sherman. We were honored to host a June 11 business lunch for U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and Consul General Marie Damour with such a distinguished group of AmCham member company representatives. Our gender diversity was pretty impressive, too. Seven of our 11 reps were women, including Chair Winnie Wong. We learned from Deputy Secretary Sherman more about the U.S. commitment to the region through the Indo-Pacific Strategy and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. And we discussed shared interests in Vietnam: ensuring resilient, sustainable, ethical supply chains; accelerating Vietnam’s green transition; access to livesaving medicines, devices, and healthcare; an enabling environment for the digital economy and tech startups; and developing a globally competitive workforce. Delighted many AmCham members were able to hear Deputy Secretary Sherman’s remarks at Fulbright University Vietnam just before.

FUV event. We were honored to join FUV’s June 11 event featuring U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, together with Chair Winnie Wong and many AmCham members. Learned more about the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy and shared interests. Plenty of tough questions by FUV students. LINK
