The Vietnam Child Protection & Safeguarding Summit will offer 2 keynotes and 18 sessions on a wide range of topics related to child protection. Sessions will include professional skill development, information on current trends, and panel discussions with experts. Confirmed session topics include:

The Vietnam Business Forum (VBF)
The Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) has rescheduled its technical session on March 17, and its high-level plenary session on March 20. As an ongoing policy dialogue between government and business leaders, the VBF has become a key advocacy platform for shaping business and investment reforms that contribute to improving Vietnam's economic landscape.

AmCham leaders met with US Trade Representative (USTR) US Trade Representative Katherine Tai is visiting Hanoi this week to share the Biden administration’s priorities for the region, including the ongoing negotiations of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). The 14-member IPEF was launched in May 2022 following months of preliminary talks throughout Asia. The initiative will consist of four pillars: three pillars on clean economy, fair economy and supply chains will be headed by the US Secretary of Commerce, while the final trade pillar will be headed by the US Trade Representative. Topics of negotiation in the trade pillar include agriculture, trade facilitation, labor, environment, regulatory practices and the digital economy. Ambassador Marc E. Knapper hosted a dinner for Ambassador Tai that included Adam Sitkoff, Chris Vanloon and Jim Ollen on behalf of AmCham Vietnam

Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam partners with Asia Clean Capital Vietnam. They entered into a power purchase agreement on December 16 and kicked off a rooftop solar project with a capacity of 4.3MWp.The system will generate 5,906.91 MWh and avoid 4,802.3 tons of CO2 annually helping UACV offset 27% of its current annual power demand. Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam, established in 2019, manufactures and exports aircraft components to North America and Europe which are worth $11 million in 2021 and $35 million in 2022, and expects to reach $60 million in 2026 and $90 million in 2028.
