Ashli Hamilton, John Jay College ’25, is one busy person! She is majoring in forensic psychology and minoring in sociology, and serves as secretary of the Black Student Union. On top of that, she is a scholar in John Jay’s Honors Program and the founder and co-chair of the Criminal Justice Honors Committee, a club that provides students with info and networking opportunities for careers in criminal justice. Her academic excellence secured her a spot in the New York Giants Touchdown Fellowship. Currently, she is revising an article she wrote about crime and media, which was chosen for publication in the Annual Review of Criminal Justice Studies, an academic journal that focuses on the critical analysis of law and politics. Ashli plans to pursue Ph.D. programs in clinical psychology or criminal justice. |
