I’m Back! ❤️
Hello, Amazing Grace!
I’m back — at least for a little while! I’m taking an intermission from my sabbatical adventures to spend the month of August with all of you, and it feels so good to be home.
Thank you for the wonderful, loving welcome back this past week. There have been lots of hugs, smiles, stories, and catching up, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve missed my Amazing Grace family!
My sabbatical journey isn’t quite finished yet, but for now, I’m grateful for this time in between — a whole month to worship, laugh, serve, and simply be together again.
I can’t wait to see you on Sunday!
Much love,
Mother Suzanne ❤️
Greetings!

Thank you to everyone who signed and supported A Call to Feed the Hungry Sunday! Together, more than 2,500 people across our diocese raised their voices in support of SNAP and the millions of families who rely on it to put food on the table.
The campaign collected 2,530 valid signatures representing at least 219 congregations, including more than 100 Episcopal congregations, many congregations from other denominations and faith traditions, and an additional 98 community and faith-based organizations.
This effort reached thousands of people through our newsletters, social media channels, website, and campaign toolkit. The website generated more than 8,400 page views, our emails received more than 8,100 opens, and over 50 churches, faith communities, organizations, and supporters amplified the campaign through their social media channels.
It's not too late to get involved or share with your friends and family...

Coffee in the Pantry – Sunday, August 23
The Dame Julian Chapter of the Daughters of the King invites everyone to Coffee in the Pantry after worship on Sunday, August 23.
Join us in the Parish Hall for fellowship, light refreshments, and an assembly line to pack emergency nonperishable food boxes for our homebound seniors. Everyone is invited to bring a light snack or finger food to share as we enjoy time together while serving our neighbors.
During the event, you'll also have the opportunity to take a guided tour of Grace's Food Pantry and learn more about the ministry that serves so many in our community.
Come for the fellowship, stay for the service, and help us extend Christ's love to our homebound neighbors. All are welcome!
As a bonus - please bring new socks we can pass out to our neighbors experiencing homelessness who visit our pantry daily and on Fridays for showers.

Dignity
Our baptismal pledge to “respect the dignity of every human being” means, at the very least, to listen to one another. Alongside our listening, we must also work for what we can do on behalf of the least, and the last, and the lowly – the anguished multitudes of our own country and our world – to redress the injustice, poverty, and unconscionable suffering which is their daily bread.
