Coming film & concert events with messages to match their artistic beauty
As the father of an 11-year-old daughter, I know how important it is to provide girls and young women with support and encourage null them to achieve their goals.

While we've come a long way, there are still implicit biases and other barriers that confront girls and women every day.

I'm happy to invite you to join me on April 30 to view an important new independent film called "The Empowerment Project."

The film documents the journey of a crew of female filmmakers who drive across America, interviewing ordinary women who excel in a range of professions to encourage, empower, and inspire the next generation of strong women to pursue their passions.  After the film, there will be a panel discussion with women leaders from the Bay Area.

The screening is scheduled for April 30, 2 pm to 5 pm, at the Berkeley Adult School, 1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702. There will be light refreshments.

Attendance is free, but please RSVP here to reserve your spot.
