Some awesome volunteers rolled up their sleeves this month to help make great progress on our 107th home! Thanks to your continued support and dedication to building affordable homes in our community, our volunteers have completed the following tasks on this home:

  • Install Drywall
  • Exterior Painting
  • Interior Painting
  • Shed Construction
  • Install Flooring
  • And more!

Special thanks to Citizens Bank for sponsoring the future home of the Johnson family, as well as helping to paint the interior of the home on November 17! The work we do to build high-quality, affordable homes in our community would not be possible without support from local organizations like this.
We recently were in need of a new dump trailer to use at our construction sites. As you may know, a trailer of this kind is no small expense these days. Thanks to Beard's Trailer Sales, we were able to purchase a new trailer at cost, saving thousands of dollars! Their generosity is critical in helping our ministry address the affordable housing crisis in our community, as land and building prices have risen drastically. We are incredibly grateful for support from local organizations like this. Thank you, Beard's Trailer Sales!
Levatta Crawford is officially a homeowner!
Congratulations to Levatta Crawford for officially closing on her Habitat home last month! She has worked incredibly hard to accomplish the building and purchasing of her own home as a single mother of five children. We are honored to partner with her and her family as they officially embark on this journey of homeownership. Congratulations!
The Habitat for Humanity of Denton County ReStore is ready for this year's holiday shoppers! We have an amazing special going on this season: Buy one children's rocking chair ($15 brand new), and we'll donate one to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program! This local program distributes the donated toys as Christmas gifts to needy children within our community. So, hurry in to grab a useful gift for the kids in your life - and for local kids in need, too.

The ReStore is open Tuesday - Saturday from 8:30am-5:00pm at 1805 Cornell Lane in Denton.
Advent 2022 begins on Nov. 27 and ends on Dec. 24. During this season of Advent, join us for weekly devotions as we enter into a time of expectation and anticipation in preparation for Christmas.

We are raising funds to develop 8 acres of vacant land in Southeast Denton and establish a new "Habitat Village" housing development on the property. As many as 35 new affordable homes will be built alongside local families in need via this development. This project involves developing the infrastructure of this neighborhood, including the streets, sidewalks, utilities, proper drainage requirements, and everything else needed to support a neighborhood of 35 homes.

The majority of our funds are raised by local individuals and local organizations, so we are relying on YOUR continued support to carry us forward. Would you consider making a gift to the Habitat Village today?
