I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I am now 28 years old and have been fishing peacock bass for 24 years. I have been guiding for peacock bass for the past 9 years. The great thing about fishing is making friends and learning something new from all the fisherman I fish with. I have seen only a hand full of 7 to 8 1/2 pound peacock bass landed in Hawaii with 7 1/2 being my personal best. Catching or seeing a 10lb plus peacock bass would be crazy for me, BUT catching a 20lb plus peacock bass would be out of this world!
Fishing on the Amazon river for the big brothers and sisters to the Hawaii peacock bass has been only a dream of mine for many of years. I can only imagine the power and aggressiveness of those wild giants you guys catch. I love catching these Hawaiian peacock bass but watching someone catch one for the first time is my all time favorite.
I have been fortunate enough to have filmed and guided several TV fishing shows and been featured in Japanese fishing magazines. Fishing and surfing all over the world from Europe to Indonesia to Alaska to the warm waters of Christmas island is my passion. I love, and am very "hooked", on adventure. Traveling anywhere, anytime, not knowing where you are or where you might end up next is what I live for. I'm a Eagle Scout and still a volunteer as a merit badge councilor for the Fishing and Motor boating merit badge. On my other days off I work as a deck hand on a 27 ft Yellow fin commercial fishing boat. Peacock bass fishing is what I know best and what I love the most.
"You can't catch anything with your bait out of the water and that fish of a lifetime is only a cast away!"
Call me and let's get packed!
