Always Start with Respect
Welcome to the Ambassador Program!
To truly accept someone, we need to respect them for who they are and treat them as you would like to be treated. Let's build communities that embrace and accept individuals with autism and their families! Now is the time to plan for April!
AMBASSADOR HIGHLIGHT
Mrs. C’s Kindness Group at Memorial Middle School in Cedar Grove, NJ, showed RESPECT last year by decorating their school hallways with autism awareness ribbons.
Involve your Local Businesses
Scout out places you and your family frequent. Plan to let them know you are part of an autism awareness campaign that will run throughout April in support of Autism Awareness Month. Ask if they are willing to show their support.
BUILD A BETTER DISPLAY
Whether it is a library, place of worship, school, or workplace, a colorful display is an easy and effective way to educate people about autism.
Request permission, then confirm a time frame for your display
