When you CHOOSE KINDNESS amazing things will happen!

Welcome, Ambassador! You are CHOOSING to be part of this important awareness campaign. You are giving both kids and adults information and tools to make connections, build friendships, and create acceptance of individuals in New Jersey with autism. Now is the time to plan for April! Be sure to check out our online Hub in mid-February. It will be packed with ideas and downloads.

Ambassador Spotlight As Junior Ambassadors, last year Jordan and Kyle displayed ambassador tools and information at their local McDonald's in Barnegat. They encouraged patrons to purchase a pin-up and donated the proceeds.

Involving your Local Businesses

Scout out places you and your family frequent. Plan to let them know you are part of an autism awareness campaign that will run throughout April in support of Autism Awareness Month. Ask if they are willing to show their support.

DISPLAY Keep it simple and just hang a poster SHARE Share information at each check-out area or on tables RAISE FUNDS Donate a portion of the proceeds on a designated day

BUILD A BETTER DISPLAY Whether it is a library, place of worship, school, or workplace, a colorful display is an easy and effective way to educate people about autism.

Request permission, then confirm a time frame for your display Order awareness supplies Keep your display restocked if needed Post your photos #AutismNJAmbassador or send them to aamonth@autismnj.org
