Each Ambetter Health plan has key features that are important to convey to your clients as they’re selecting their coverage.

Ambetter Select plans give members access to a tailored group of in-network doctors and hospitals with no referral requirements.

Ambetter Value plans give members access to a tailored group of in-network doctors and hospitals. PCP referrals are required for specialist care.

Ambetter Virtual Access plans give members access to a broad group of in-network doctors and hospitals. Members are assigned a virtual PCP from either Teladoc or Babylon, depending on the state, and enjoy unlimited $0 virtual PCP appointments. PCP referrals are required for specialist care.

It’s important your clients understand that each Ambetter product has a different provider network. A full listing of in-network providers for all Ambetter Health plans can be viewed on the Ambetter Guide. Provider profiles will indicate which providers require a referral from a member’s Primary Care Provider (PCP).
