Recently, Aetna Better Health of Ohio identified an issue that was causing claims billed with A0429, A0427, A0434, and A0433 to deny inappropriately. Claims received after 3/26/19 are not affected, as the cause of denial was corrected in our system.
All claims effected by this issue have been identified, and Aetna will be reprocessing claims which were affected with date of service on or after 2-12-18. Please note, not all claim denials were inappropriate, and only claims with inappropriate denials will be reprocessed and paid.
We apologize for the error and any inconvenience this may have caused. We are working to have the claims reprocessed as quickly as possible. We anticipate claims to be reprocessed no later than April 30th.
