Marketing Strategies
It is important that you implement some marketing strategies to get people who are wanting to Save Money or Make Money!
There are lots of ways to do this, some cost money and many are free.

Pick 2-3 strategies for finding people to talk to about the memberships and 2-3 strategies for finding people to talk to about the business opportunity.

All of the strategies have been tested and you must follow the instructions if you want to get the same results. If you want to get the same results as successful people.... you must do what they did.

Marissa got started with AmeriPlan and made the decision at that time to jump in and go to work. Her husband was on her first practice presentation training call and immediately understood what she was doing and gave her full support.

Prior to working with AmeriPlan, Marissa was hit by a drunk driver and incurred massive medical bills which she had to pay. At the time she had no insurance and did not know that AmeriPlan existed. $45,000 in debt, she started with AmeriPlan to be able to provide extra's for her family and pay off the medical debt.

She is truely an amazing woman as she lives with daily pain and yet pushes through to get what she wants.
She is a woman of no excuses... she is just going to make this happen for her family.

Here is all that she did to build her business:

1. She went to the

2. She then picked some marketing strategies to implement. (Flyers and sizzle cards)
3. She plugged into the team training calls and worked with her sponsor and team leaders.
4. She practiced the scripts (membership) Interviewing script and system.
5. She shared information with people how to SAVE MONEY and how to MAKE MONEY
6. She sold lots of memberships and recruited lots of new IBOs and told them to do the same.

She set a goal and went after it!

In Marissa's Own Words

I decided that I was going to do this full force. I was presented this opportunity and I saw what would be possible if I really put my all into it. I used our training website as my resource guide.

I used a flyer from our roadtonvp.com website and made thousands of copies (which ended being very inexpensive due to Ameriplan's affiliation with office depot which allows us IBO's to receive generous discounts). I also used the sizzle cards on the training site and ordered 3,000 for the membership and 3,000 for the recruiting. These cards are gorgeous cards and at such an inexpensive price. For 3,000 cards you pay 49.00 and it gets to you within a week. I went out every morning and put flyers in every single store I could. The stores that did not allow flyers I left some in the ladies room, I left some by the toothpaste products and so forth. I went to towns north of me and towns south of me.

I go every week and make sure that each store has a sufficient amount of my flyers left otherwise I leave more. I also go a couple of times a week to the big malls, shopping centers, grocery stores, Lowe's Home Depot, Target, Sam's etc... and put business cards and sizzle cards between the driver's side window and the door. I had people stopping as I was putting these cards out and asking me about these benefits. I had people calling me as soon as they got to there cars and saw my business cards and asking me. I also had people taking a bunch of my business cards, to give to people they knew needed the benefits.

I had one man stop me and take 20 business cards and said his union just laid people off and they all needed benefits. I have been getting a very good response to using the flyers and the business/sizzle cards. Then when I come home from doing this I call back anyone who has called inquiring about the plan and after I sign them up, I get back on the phone recruiting people. I use home-based business leads.

After I put my little girl to bed I get back on the phone for the pretty must the rest of the evening. If someone hangs up on me, I do not let it get me down, they were not ready to see this opportunity, maybe a little later on down the road they will be open to seeing it and seeing what they can accomplish with it. If someone hangs up on me, I just say, OK lets call another 10 people.

The next day I am up and at it again.

Also, the training calls are KEY! I get on every single one I can and take notes.

I also reached out and called my mentor Debbi Carroll all the time when I had questions and she always took the time to answer my questions and guide me. I listened to what Debbi told me 20% training and 80% on the phone. You will gain so much more experience by talking to people. You have to be on the phone. If you are doing this part time then you should talk to 5 people a day, full time at least 10 people a day.

I was so nervous before I made my first phone call to someone who was looking to have their own home based business. I paced back and forth for about � hour and then I said to myself "Get over it and pick up the phone" and I did and there has been no looking back.

I realized that I am not selling anything, people are coming to me for the plans, they are coming to me about wanting to work at home. When it comes to recruiting, I know that I have a great business and I do not care if this person does not want it, I am going on with or without them b/c I know what lies ahead for me with this business. I am looking for people to build a long-term business relationship with. I want people that are going to put the time and effort into their business like I do. I am not looking for someone who has no enthusiasm, or does not want to work, that does nothing for me or my business, I am looking for people who have desire.

All I can say, is that you are building your future, your business, you have been given the opportunity to make 6-7 figures in lifetime residual income working part time, imagine if you did full time, how much more you can make and accomplish.
