December News & Updates

December 2023 | III

December Employee of the Month:

Nicole Nania

(nominated by Anonymous):

"Nicole has been working on ways to improve small processes in and out of the office to make everyone's life easier. She found a new (much better) mileage log for those with a company vehicle to keep better track of oil changes, mileage, etc. She has been leading an effort to better store and organize supplies/PPE in the office. Her "cost savings" approach and attitude with this project and other projects she has been involved with will have a significant impact on overhead costs which is typically overlooked in other organizations. Her drive to lower overhead costs and make all of our lives easier with smaller tasks makes her a tremendous asset as she works her way up in the company where she can lead and focus on larger initiatives that will have a positive impact on the company and employees."

Congratulations, Nicole – very well deserved!

Other December Nominees:

Carl “Buzz” Miller (nominated by Terry Yeany)

Willy Bortmas (nominated by Lucas Long)

Cameron Clark (nominated by Rudolph T. R. N. Reindeer)

December Employee Spotlight:

Lucas Long

"Just wanted to give you a quick progress report of the time I have spent with Luke out here at Chemex in Ohio. He started to fit in immediately. He has gone above and beyond to establish a field presence and develop a rapport with the guys out in the field and in the office. He has also taken to doing aerial lift trainings, as well as regular audits and inspections. I know that if I ask him to do anything out here it will be done promptly and correctly. Since he has been here, I have not had to worry at all about what he has going on or what he is doing. Most importantly, he is a quick learner, and not at all shy to ask questions or get involved. He has significantly lightened my burden out here especially as we recently surpassed 100 guys regularly on-site, and I am very pleased to have him out here." - Anonymous

December Employee Spotlight:

Cam Clark

Cameron joined our organization this past February as a graduate from IUP. Cam was hungry and eager to travel, to be successful, and learn our industry's “boots on the ground”! Cam's success in the field has been based on performance and attitude, as well as his investment in himself and his contribution to the organization – he’s been both resilient and diligent in his work. While Cameron has only been with us for 10 months, we could not be more excited about his growth as a professional! Congrats on being a valuable asset to our organization and keep doing great things, CAM!
