November News & Updates

November 2023 | II

November Employee of the Month:

Chris Sarracino

(nominated separately by two individuals who both wish to remain Anonymous):

Nomination 1: Chris has demonstrated the desire to continue to grow in his role with the company. His background makes him a tremendous asset for continuing our growth and development of new employees in the organization. I believe he wants to continue to grow the business and achieve new milestones both personally and professionally. Chris continues to develop our academic outreach at the University level, and he wants to foster that relationship to a point where Amerisafe is on all future safety students' radars.

Nomination 2: Chris has been incredibly helpful with anything I have asked from him. Additionally, he approached every situation with a true desire to help and genuinely seemed excited when presented with the opportunity to make improvements. This was the case recently when Rescue needed assistance with tracking air monitor readings and entry logs. Chris did what I couldn’t do and found a solution that was economical, practical and easy to use for our Attendants.

Congratulations, Chris – very well deserved!

October Brainteaser Results:

1.    Paul’s height is six feet, he’s an assistant at a butcher’s shop, and he wears size 9 shoes. What does he weigh? MEAT!

2.    A man was walking in the rain. He was in the middle of nowhere. He had nothing with him and nowhere to hide. He came home soaking wet, but not a single hair on his head was wet. Why is that? HE’S BALD!

3.    Your parents have six sons, including you. Each son has one sister. How many people are in the family? 9 PEOPLE! (Mom, Dad, Six Sons and ONE DAUGHTER – each son has only one sister)

4.    How can a man who shaves several times a day still sport a long beard? HE’S A BARBER!

Four entrants got all 4 questions right, and a name was drawn randomly: Congratulations to Heather Rogers. Heather – enjoy your $25 Amazon Gift Card!

Think hard to answer these November Brainteasers:

1.    What five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?

2.    8,549,176,320   What makes this number unique?

3.    What is 3/7 chicken, 2/3 cat, and 2/4 goat?

Email your answers to Craig at cfirment@amerisafegroup.com. If you get ALL THREE correct, your name will be entered in a drawing for a $25.00 Amazon gift card. Answers and the winner will be announced in the December edition of Ameri-WISE!
