MC3 Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program

Multi-craft Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program

Second class starts May 23^rd 2022

The Multi-craft Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program provides a wide array of classes for each Trade Labor Union. The training courses offer core services that include green construction, financial literacy, Occupational Safety (OSHA10), CPR/First Aid, construction math, electrical theory, basic circuitry and testing, measuring and estimating, blueprint reading, tool usage and safety for all trade crafts, history of cement and the craft, plumbing and pipefitting, HVAC, welding, fabricating and painting awareness and HR sexual harassment/diversity.

Basic requirements

At least 18 years of age
A High School diploma or GED
A valid California Driver’s License
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass drug screen.
Must read and write English

SCHEDULE - 6 Weeks

Monday - Friday

8am- 4pm

Start Date:5.23.22 End Date: 7.1.22

Microbusiness Relief Grant Program

$2500 for eligible Kern County Microbusinesses

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have (0-4) full-time equivalent employees

- Be operational prior to December 2019 and have a physical presence in the County of Kern

- Currently active and operating or with a clear plan to reopen

- Less than $50,000 in revenues in the 2019 taxable year

- A one-page application form must be completed and submitted – Available both in English & Spanish.
