CAREER EXPO / STEMPOSIUM

The Kern County Career Expo & STEMposium is a career awareness event geared towards the students and employers of Kern. The focus of the event is to build career & STEM awareness for tomorrow’s workforce. Employers from Kern County had the opportunity to promote the different career opportunities that are available within their companies through an interactive booth. Elementary, middle school, and high school students attended the event to learn more about the different career paths available to them in their community.

AJCC, ETR, and EPIC participated in the STEMposium & Career EXPO on Friday, April 6^th at the new CTEC Center. This was a collaborative event that we have partnered in for about (4) years wit our community partners and educators to bring career awareness to our local students. Over (120) booths were there to share either their educational programs or career opportunities at their businesses. (3,000) plus students attended this very successful event!
