ADOPT A BRITTANY

Pidge - CA – 6 y/o:

Pidge is a huntress who lives to scour the backyard for anything that moves- but she doesn’t feel the need to go past the fenced area. She comes when called, especially at dinner time. Pidge settles down on the sofa with her foster family in the evening, preferring foster Dad. She is house trained and crate trained. Pidge is independent but friendly to all dogs, cats, adults and kids (even toddlers). Pidge is a typical active Brittany ready for her forever home!

Adopt Pidge

Tramp - CA - 6 y/o:

Tramp settled easily into foster care and has made himself at home, cuddling on the sofa with his foster Mom. He thrives on her attention. He loves searching the backyard for any critter that dares to enter. He is content to stay within the fenced yard and comes when called. Tramp is house trained and crate trained. He is friendly to adults, children (even busy toddlers) and dogs. We are working on leash walks and he now walks on the left side. He’s still learning to control his excited self with less pulling. Tramp is a typical high energy Brittany who is well socialized and ready for his forever home!

ABOUT AMERICAN BRITTANY RESCUE

American Brittany Rescue, Inc. is an organization that was formed in 1991 as a cooperative effort of Brittany owners, breeders, trainers, and fanciers who ABR believes have a responsibility not only for their own dogs and the dogs they produce, but for the breed as a whole.

THE AMERICAN BRITTANY RESCUE MISSION

ABR's mission is to provide the leadership and expertise via a network of trained volunteers to take in stray, abandoned, surrendered and/or impounded purebred Brittanys, provide them with foster care, health and temperament screening, an opportunity for any necessary rehabilitation and to assure their health and placement into new homes. In order to fulfill this mission, ABR's volunteers remain flexible and adaptable to current and future business environments and they remain dedicated to the organization.
