  • We invite you to join us for the 2020 Annual Meeting of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology®, Translating Clinical Pharmacology Research into Patient-centered Care, September 20 – 22, 2020 at the Bethesda N Marriott Hotel & Conf Ctr. ACCP has planned another diverse and exceptional educational program that meets the needs of healthcare professionals and scientists with an interest in one or more of the myriad of applications of clinical pharmacology ranging from research and drug development to patient care. New in 2020 and included in the registration fee are the PharmaFete social event on Sunday evening and the Faculty in Focus sessions that provide an opportunity for up close and personal discussions with Faculty Speakers.   • Q1 2020 was an active one for ACCP and partnerships. Three Memorandum of Understanding were signed with the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP), the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF) and the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring & Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT). Below you will find additional information on each.
The ACCP/ISoP SIG is a collaboration between the societies on several levels, including the presentation of the ACCP/ISoP SIG Student Abstract Award presented at the ACCP Annual Meeting that comes with complimentary 3-Day registration to the ACCP Annual Meeting, a $500 honorarium, an award and an invitation to the ACCP Regents & Awards Dinner. In addition, there will be an ACCP/ISoP jointly-sponsored Symposium titled "Assessing the Feasibility of Model-informed Precision Dosing: A Point-Counterpoint Debate" on September 21 st  at the 2020 ACCP Annual Meeting in Bethesda, MD, for which ACCP will provide CME & CPE credits. There will be an ACCP/ISoP SIG breakfast at the 2020 ACCP Annual Meeting and a Meet the ACCP/ISoP Clinical Pharmacometrics SIG Luncheon at ACoP each year.
Italian Society of Pharmacology

ACCP and SIF are currently developing a joint Proposal for the 2021 ACCP Annual Meeting that will include Faculty Spearkers from both societies.  
ACCP & IATDMCT will work together to develop, plan and conduct various educational events and programs and to develop and produce research and policy papers/statements relevant to the fields of clinical pharmacology, therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical toxicology. An initial effort put forth by the ACCP and IATDMCT is the joint development of a scientific symposium that will be included in the program of the 18th IATDMCT Congress in Banff, Canada, 13-16 September, 2020. The organization of this symposium will be led by the Drs. Penny Colbourne and David Kinniburgh for IATDMCT and Drs. Natella Rakhmanina and John van den Anker for ACCP. Additional efforts might include, but not be limited to, joint manuscripts or Position Papers/Policy Statements as well as the joint development of a Proposal for the 2021 ACCP Annual Meeting.
2020 Membership Dues Renewal is Complete
The 2020 membership dues renewal has closed and ACCP had another successful year! ACCP maintains a steady renewal rate and c ontinues to see a healthy number of new Members join the society from a wide geographic area. Below you will find a breakdown of membership based on gender, affiliation and activities. ACCP looks forward to continuing to provide exceptional Member Benefits in 2020.

The February webinar: Communicating Your Science: From Blank Screen to Published Article for Students, Trainees & Early-stage Professionals (and a refresher for all who are interested) was a huge success! It was one of most highly attended webinars ACCP has ever had. The Communicating Your Science webinar was the first installment for a series focused on Students, Trainees & Early-stage Professionals. We look forward with great anticipation to the Tips & Tricks for Effective Presentations webinar , April 21st. Additionally, development of a series of webinars focused on Early-stage Professionals ( 1-10 years in their first professional position) is underway with expected launch in Fall 2020.
