2021 ACCP Annual Meeting is Going Virtual!
With respect to the safety of our Attendees, Faculty Speakers and Staff, on March 23rd, the ACCP Leadership announced the Annual Meeting will be hosted Virtually. Our focus continues to be on maintaining the welcoming, intimate nature of the ACCP Annual Meeting and developing exceptional educational sessions that provide an opportunity for you to hear from a diverse, global representation of Faculty Speakers. Pre-meeting Workshops will be held September 11th - 12th and a series of Student, Trainee & Early-stage Professional events will be hosted on Friday, September 10th. On Monday, September 13th, prerecorded Poster presentations will be hosted in two Poster Sessions, including the ability for Poster presenters to chat Virtually with Attendees in private chat rooms, and informative roundtable presentations will be hosted from our Sponsors. The 5-day meeting will include:
  • 14 outstanding educational sessions
  • Plenary session and Keynote address
  • Private networking rooms for each attendee
  • Networking breakout sessions throughout the meeting, including a Virtual Happy Hour
  • Honors & Awards presentations and interviews
  • Roundtable presentations

2021 ACCP Annual Meeting Call for Abstracts
Don't miss this opportunity to Submit Your Abstract for the 2021 ACCP Virtual Annual Meeting, "Spearheading Innovations in Clinical Pharmacology". The Virtual nature of the meeting will allow for a unique opportunity to submit your Abstract and attend the meeting for only the cost of registration. The submission deadline is April 15th at 11:59 PM ET.
ACCP Inclusivity, Diversity & Equity Committee
ACCP was pleased to announce the new Inclusivity, Diversity & Equity (IDE) Committee on March 31st. The main purpose of the IDE Committee is to implement guidances to ensure that ACCP is mindful of a social balance in its activities and programming that provides an atmosphere of opportunity for all persons in the society. This will allow ACCP to effectively meet the needs of its Members, engage them in society activities and attract new Members to whom the opportunities appeal.

Hartmut Derendorf Mentorship
in Clinical Pharmacology Award
On March 4th, the ACCP Board of Regents approved the renaming of its Mentorship Award to the “Hartmut Derendorf Mentorship in Clinical Pharmacology Award”. Honoring our beloved colleague in this way will permit ACCP to continue his legacy. The award will be renamed effective immediately and will be presented for the first time at the at the 2021 ACCP Annual Meeting as the Hartmut Derendorf Mentorship in Clinical Pharmacology Award.
ACCP Leadership Development Program Participants Announced
ACCP welcomed Kacey Anderson, PhD, Jonathan Constance, PhD, Amalia Issa, PhD, MPH, Lucy Lee, PharmD, MS and Zaid Temrikar, MS to the 2021 ACCP Leadership Development Program on January 14th. The society looks forward to your growth and continued participation within ACCP!

ACCP Trends in Drug Development Workshop a Success!
The inaugural 2021 ACCP Trends in Drug Development Virtual Workshop held February 24th - 25th was a great success! The Workshop was a Live, online event over two days that addressed topics in pre-clinical and clinical drug development relevant to clinical pharmacologists primarily working in industry.

We would like to thank our Faculty Speakers, Drs. Abhay Singh Chauhan, Allan B. Dietz, Michael J. Fossler, Jr, Barney Graham and David Stephen Pisetsky, for presenting cutting-edge, relevant information on the latest developments critical to driving successful pre-clinical and clinical drug development. We look forward to the 2022 Trends in Drug Development Workshop and will announce the dates as soon as they are confirmed.
