We have got you covered on our next tour, Fall for New England.
Celebrate the season on this all inclusive tour. You will journey by luxury motorcoach. Enjoy a buffet breakfast in a historic General Store, tour the scenic countryside of the Nashoba Valley. Visit the historic Fruitlands Museum. Stop at an orchard in the heart of apple country. Enjoy lunch overlooking a Mill Pond and waterfall. Cross a covered bridge. View the spectacle of Fall from the summit of the highest peak east of the Connecticut River.
Departing from Smithfield RI and Sharon MA on Thursday October 18th, we will journey to the Nashoba Valley in MA, Johnny Appleseed Country. Stopping at the Harvard General Store for a buffet breakfast. Overlooking the town green surrounded by historic buildings and homes. It is as picturesque and quintessentially New England as it gets. The General Store is featured on Chronicle and a new book on General Stores of New England.
Next we will visit the nearby Fruitlands Museum set on 200 acres with panoramic views all the way to Mt Wachusett. Tour a unique collection of museums and galleries featuring New England history, culture and art.
Then enjoy a narrated rolling tour of the area enjoying the scenic views and Fall foliage before stopping at Westward Orchards in Harvard MA. This 4th generation farm nestled in the hills of Nashoba Valley is known for their quality fruits and vegetables. Then it's on to lunch at The 1761 Old Mill in Westminster MA located in a old sawmill creating a visual wonderland of traditional New England charm. Overlooking a mill pond and waterfall accessed by covered bridges over a raging brook. We have reserved a room overlooking the mill pond, the perfect setting for true New England dining.
After lunch we will head to nearby Princeton MA. By special permission we will ascend to the summit of Mt Wachusett in the comfort of our motor coach. Enjoy a spectacular 360 degree view of the foliage into 3 states from the highest peak east of the Connecticut River (2,006 Feet).
