2017 Executive Forum Recap

The 2017 Executive Forum at Norfolk Southern's Goode Building in Atlanta, Georgia was a great success!  Our program featured speakers from throughout the railroad industry, addressing timely issues relating to our 2016-17 theme of "Get Connected." These presentations and panel discussions focused on:
  • Alternative Uses for Railroad Property
  • Avoiding Disconnections from Rising Tides
  • Connecting the Industry Through GIS
  • Helping the Public Get Connected to Rail
  • Push for Utility Crossing Legislation
  • Sources of Funding for Economic Development Projects
Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in round table discussions on Best Practices in Economic Development, Unmanned Systems and their Impact on Environmental Services, and Utility Crossings. In between these discussions, attendees got to tour  Norfolk Southern's Enterprise Command and Locomotive Control Centers.
