Bus space is full, but you may join the waitlist on Engage. Wheelchair accessible buses will leave the Student Union at 1pm, returning at 5pm. Museum admission is free.
No RSVP necessary if you have your own transportation - please meet the Abilities group in the museum lobby.

Retrieved from the APA - Coming Out Day was founded in 1988 by Richard Eichberg, a psychologist and Jean O'Leary, a gay rights activist, to raise awareness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and its civil rights movement. They chose October 11th to mark the anniversary of the second major National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, which took place 1987.

This Family Weekend and leading up to Indigenous Peoples' Day, join the Indigenous American Cultural Student Association for this educational hike to share what the colors of the forest mean to Native peoples. We will hike through the Runkle Woods surrounding campus; please meet at the ANA Center to start and we will return there at the conclusion. Our goal is to amplify authentic Indigenous voices to continue to highlight that Native Peoples are still here today. Volunteer to Be an NCCJ Teen Summit Facilitator!

The NCCJ Teen Summit brings together 20+ high schools from the Greater Dayton area for a day of learning centered around DEI topics and is looking for DEI-Passionate individuals to be facilitators and lead small group activities with the youth during the event. This year's theme is "The Power of Connection: Building a Better World with Social Media." This event is co-sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts.
Volunteers need to attend one (1) orientation session, October 8 OR 15, and be available for the entirety of the Teen Summit event on October 22. Please review the full details and complete your interested form using the link in the title above.
