Cheat A Little Catering's News & Updates
Hail, old October, bright and chill,
First freedman from the summer sun!
Spice high the bowl, and drink your fill!
Thank heaven, at last the summer's done!
Thomas Constable (1812–1881), "Old October"
Thomas Constable’s quote reminds us that summer is now a distant memory and the crisp cool air of autumn is upon us. He also reminds us in his poem that it’s the season for warm and comfy foods and drinks of fall. Yes, it’s the season for hot spiced drinks and warm comfort foods and Cheat A Little Catering is ready to help you stay warm and toasty all season long.

Holiday Party Planning Made Easy:

We're just under three months until Christmas and all of the holiday extravaganzas that come with it. You may be thinking "it's too early to plan our holiday party," but we believe in the "sooner rather than later" philosophy. So, here are four reasons why getting your party booked now is important:
1.      Location, Location, Location – That’s right, your holiday party is all about the location. Whether it’s at your company’s facility or an outside venue, booking and planning early avoids any issues of missed opportunities or loss of first-choice location.
2.     Avoid the holiday vendor rush – As the holidays draw near, you will find that vendors’ have limited availability and may come with additional fees and surcharges for the last-minute rush. Avoid these higher costs and secure your preferred vendors by booking early.
3.     More time, more creativity – When you have more time to plan an event, it allows you more opportunities to be creative and have fun with the planning process. Give yourself the luxury of time to be creative.
4.     Early planning = more guests – We all know that everyone’s calendars fill-up quickly during the holidays. The sooner that you book your event, the better chance of having more guests attend. Put it on everyone’s calendar now so there will be no competing for other holiday parties later.
Did you know that Cheat A Little Catering is a full-service catering and events company? We plan entire events – from menus to venues. We'll help secure your first-choice location and plan every detail along the way. We are the preferred caterer at many beautiful and unique venues in the Bay Area. Our established relationships with these spaces provide you with the comfort of knowing your event details will be handled from booking your date to executing the day-of. We will design and craft a menu that pleases the palate of every guest. And of course, we are available to help you with all of the details in between – including: décor, djs, lighting, rentals, and more.
Contact us today to speak with one of our event planners to lock-in your preferred date and place, and we’ll work with you on all the rest.
