Bringing Joy Through Connection: The Success of Friends & Co's Holiday Cards Connect Program

The holiday season is a time of joy and togetherness, but for many older adults in Minnesota, it can also be a stark reminder of isolation and loneliness. That’s where Friends & Co's Holiday Cards Connect program has stepped in to make a meaningful difference.

This year, thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers of all ages and our donors, the program once again exceeded expectations. Hundreds of beautiful, heartfelt holiday cards will find their way to older Minnesotans, brightening their days and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

One recipient shared, “I hadn’t received a holiday card in years. When I opened the envelope and saw such thoughtful words, it made me feel like I wasn’t forgotten.” These simple yet profound moments of connection are what the Holiday Cards Connect program is all about.
