Applications for the current cycle is now open and will close on June 30, 2025.
Accepted candidates will be notified in August and will begin a 3-year term running September 2025 though June 2028.
The Y-ADR Steering Committee is an international body composed of CPR member representatives from leading law firms and in-house legal departments as well as a select number of independent neutrals from around the world.

Thank you to everyone who attended the first event of #CPRIMC Week 2025, a panel discussion at Souto Correa titled "Between Decision and Agreement: The Arbitrator, the Mediator, and Emotions in the Field of Conflict." Attendees were treated to a rich discussion of the intersection of emotions, law, and ADR, examining how each discipline approaches conflict and the individuals involved.
Moderator Giulia Spalletta and speakers Diego Faleck of Faleck & Associados, Rafael Alves of Souto Correa Advogados, and Helen Winter, PhD, LLM of Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Caruso Law delved into the distinct roles of mediators and arbitrators, highlighting their differences and respective contributions to conflict resolution nowadays — whether psychological, legal, cultural, or interpersonal.

2nd Annual CPR + USP Collaborative Event, presented by CPR’s Brazilian Advisory Board
The CPR Institute and the CPR Brazilian Advisory Board were proud to once again collaborate with the University of São Paulo to present a dispute resolution program for the legal community in São Paulo as part of CPR's IMC Week in April 2025.
Under the theme “Mediation, Negotiation, Facilitation, and Dialogue: Prevention and Management of Conflicts, Disputes, and Litigation in 2025,” participants attended a foundational panel and then chose from three concurrent workshops designed to deepen practical skills and knowledge in both English and Portuguese.

The CPR Institute and the CPR European Advisory Board will present a program in the London office of Clyde & Co. on May 19 to examine how legal departments in the energy sector work to prevent and/or successfully manage legal disputes.
"The Energy Industry And Its Rapid Evolution in a World of Uncertainty" will feature a panel of in-house counsel and experts in the energy sector who will share their experience and discuss some of the key elements of these disputes.

The agenda features practical and professional career advice from several experienced mid- to senior-level ADR practitioners, a fast-paced and fun speed mentoring session, and a networking reception.

CPR Institute's Y-ADR Steering Committee is pleased to present this program, together with Queen Mary University of London and Three Crowns, for the 2025 London International Disputes Week (LIDW). CPR is a proud supporter of LIDW.
This program will explore how ISDS can evolve to ensure that investors and states can prevent and resolve the disputes of the future. The panel, moderated by Y-ADR Steering Committee member Richard Trinick (Three Crowns) will feature representatives from private practice, investors, and states to provide a variety of viewpoints on how ISDS can help companies and states respond to global risks.

Please join us for a special event taking place on Tuesday, June 3, at 5:30 pm in Midtown Manhattan. CPR is celebrating the publication of a new book devoted to dispute prevention.

CPR is joining the AAA and its international division, ICDR, for a forum called “The Hague Future Dispute Resolution Conference.” This will be a a dynamic, day-long conference where leading experts and practitioners critically examine the transformative impact of AI on international dispute resolution.
