February is National Heart Health Month -  the perfect time to share mouthwatering recipes that will help you keep you on a healthful eating plan without sacrificing flavor! This month is also Celebration of Chocolate Month, National Berry Fresh Month, National Cherry Month, Grapefruit Month, and Potato Lover's Month! 
In honor of Valentine's Day, I'll be sharing sweet recipes for edible treats perfect for that special someone!  May you enjoy them with pleasure and health! 

Thanks to many of you, my latest book was the #1 new release on Amazon in the Mediterranean Diet category even before it was officially released on January 12th! The Italian Diabetes Cookbook includes authentic, regional recipes from each of Italy's regions that fit into the American Diabetes Association's eating guidelines. In it, I share history, lore, and Italian living traditions along with 150 recipes (each of which have a gluten-free alternative) that the whole family will love!

On January 29, I participated in Global Ties' Annual Conference by giving a "Flash Chat" entitled: Culinary Diplomacy: The Role of Food in International Trade.  It was great to see so many non-profit, diplomatic, and governmental organizations interested in this important topic! 





Last month NBC 4 invited me to participate in their fun annual expo. It was great to see people of all ages discovering great ways to stay happy and healthy! Many thanks to everyone who attended and supported the event!
