DAY #1 IN THE STUDIO
Tonight we begin recording Amy's newest record,
The God of All Hope. Of course, this has been on hold for quite some time due to her recent illness.  Singing, playing her harp, and creating new songs is also a continuation of the healing process for Amy.

We thought this day would possibly never come!

We are grateful for your prayers and now we ask that they be extended not only for her health but for clarity and strength while sharing her heart with you through music.
HEALTH WATCH
As most of you know Amy's PET scan on March 9th was a negative scan, which was positive news! We were told that it was preliminary, which gave us pause until the final was read to us late last week. Our doctor said that the final report looked fine.  Basically, the reason why it was preliminary was the radiologist had not yet checked the dictation for errors and typos and needed to sign off on the report.  Only once in 11 years had our oncologist seen a preliminary report changed when finalized by the radiologist. Amy will continue to work on her health and to build up her weight and strength. As always, we thank God for His goodness.

The next PET scan is scheduled for June.

The "gofundme.com" account, set up by the Van Pelts from Florida, has already been a blessing to us! We have felt the immediate effects of the financial help and we have been so encouraged by all of the notes from the donors. The amount of time, energy, and finances spent on rebuilding Amy's immune system, fighting the cancer, and fighting the effects of chemotherapy is being mitigated by so many of you. 

Amy needs rest, exercise, and reduced stress.

You all are currently a big help in making that happen for her.  Every donation is like a cup of cool water and rest for our souls.
