Dari Goldman, SPH ’21, put her humanity-centered interests in public health to the test in graduate school. Studying at SPH during the COVID-19 pandemic allowed her to conduct research on a real-time issue that fell within her specialization: how pregnant women were impacted by the changes in healthcare access caused by the acute health crisis. Now that she has earned her MPH degree, Dari will focus on educating communities with a social justice bent.
Dari’s advice: β€œMake your decisions for work and school based on what you value. Through both professional work and furthering my education, it is my hope that I do justice to the degree I have earned and continue to center the voices of the people I will be working alongside.”
