In our Youth Committee Meetings this school year, Rev. Adam Gorman has asked us to give particular thought to the emotional well being of our young people. With that in mind, we pass along the information below regarding an upcoming lecture by Lisa Damour, which is free and open to the public (registration required). In recent years Lisa Damour has spoken in New York a number of times and has earned a large following as an expert in the area of teen and adolescent psychology.

Join The Hewitt School for the New York City launch of Dr. Lisa Damour’s new book, The Emotional Lives of Teenagers: Raising Connected, Capable, and Compassionate Adolescents. Following a lecture by Dr. Damour, books will be available for purchase courtesy of McNally Jackson Independent Booksellers.
