Event Description: Please join us for an ACO concert at Lincoln Center on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Under the direction of Thomas Crawford, New York's premier period instrument orchestra will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and Haydn's "Lord Nelson" Mass on historical instruments. Experience the master composer's music as it was intended to be heard. More information about the ACO can be found on www.aconyc.org. 

Schedule & Transportation

• 3:15 PM: Meet at the Westport Train Station House for the 3:26 PM train to Grand Central. We will take the shuttle to Times Square and transfer to the uptown 1 train to Lincoln Center.

• 5:30 PM: Pre-concert dinner at Shun Lee West (43 West 65th St.).

• 7:00 PM: Walk one black to Alice Tully Hall for the 7:30 PM concert.

• 9:30 PM – 11:00 PM: Post-concert reception at the Roof Terrace Lounge in the Empire Hotel (44 West 63rd St.) to meet the Maestro and orchestra members.

• 10:45 PM: A private van will transport guests back to the Westport Train Station. Alternatively, you may arrange your own transportation.

Pricing

• Concert Ticket: $60 (premium seating block).

• Post-Concert Reception: $20 (includes drinks and hors d'oeuvres).

• Private Van: $50 per rider (requires 14 participants).

• Dinner: Cost split at the table (requires a minimum of 8 to 10 participants at each table) - I can arrange for a set menu and price.

Reservations

To secure premium seating, tickets for the concert and reception ($80 total) must be purchased by September 11. Payment details will be shared once finalized.

Open to Y's Men, spouses, significant others and family

Evening trips to NYC have rarely been offered. This is an ambitious undertaking, but such a UNIQUE opportunity!
